Hmmmmmm, I haven't been working on ramp lifting mechanism before....
Check the crank lock and lift crank assembly to see if any worn out.....
If nothing wrong, maybe move the crank lock or the bracket a bit? (fill the old holes with wood and glue)

Parts available at Marco.

Both my ramps are bad, like Chuck's on left and Megalo's on right. I'll move them to my new CPR playfield in few months. I'm currently doing a cabinet restoration.

Well, there are a few ways to adjust but you have to figure it out....
To move the Lock Plate.....drill out larger holes? (green markers) or cut and weld? (red lines)
Lift Crank Arm is too wide and hard to bend, maybe cut and weld? (blue lines)
If you screw up, you can get the replacement parts from Marco's

Note: There are extra thread holes on Armature Subassembly (A-8936) (yellow arrows) but maybe too much to move the Lock Plate? Just try it. If too much, maybe drill new holes and tap threads in the middle?
Good Luck!

I need like a mm or two closer than that....
Thanks so much for the help.

Lock plate has about 75-85 degree angle, bend to lesser?
You're welcome!

Thanks.... yes, that's what I'm going to do!.... a tough metal rod with #4-40 thread on ends will go inside thin hollow braid cotton rope to avoid snapping.

Here's my backbox with nice wavy grain wood.....beautiful isn't it ?
Nice smooth semi gloss finish....just like the new kitchen cabinets!!
