1960s Williams Casanova game was working fine up to a few weeks ago. I have lost power to parts of the play-field and so far I haven
t found the problem. After over a week of looking for the problem this is what I have checked and done. I have checked for broke wires and bad solder joints.
Checked all four fuses for voltage in and voltage out, found no problems with the fuses. All stepper units are free and not stuck, all the switches to the stepper units were looked at and cleaned, found no problem that I can tell with those. The pin ball will shoot up into the shooters lane but both flippers are dead.
Checked and cleaned all score reel switches, they do not seem to be the problem, but score reel number two for both player one and player two will not set back to zero if it has a 1-9 showing. I can set both of these back to zero and the score motor quits turning since all numbers are at zero now. But most of the play-field voltage is dead. I can add games at the coin box, have 12 games showing and I can add more, so that seems to be working ok.
I have no voltage to either flipper and none of the play-field targets add any points to the score reel. Any idea?
