I'd start with the easiest problem - no lights on the playfield, no lights in the backbox. Looking at the Eager Beaver schematic, there are two fuses in the 6-volt lamps circuit. You need to confirm that 6 volts are getting to these two fuses / fuse blocks. These are the only items needed to get the general illumination working on the machine.

Quoted from ArgosySK:

3. Lights don't work.
All of the back box lights are share a common fuse.
Ensure the fuse is the correct rating and that the Jones plugs are fully seated.
Then look for a broken wire/solder joint along a common wire strand.
I would suspect is close to the lights that do work.
Check you schematic foe any switches that maybe in the circuit.[quoted image]

I wouldn't try to repair a coil (solenoid) with a metal sleeve. Most likely, the wire in the coil has fused to the metal sleeve. Attempting to remove the metal coil sleeve will probably damage the coil. Best to just order a new coil that includes a plastic sleeve.
