Seems like every time I work on drop targets on a Williams solid state game the screw holes for the screws that hold the little pc boards in place are stripped. Usually I just use Loctite on the screws and hope for the best, or maybe try a slightly larger sheet metal screw. Since the plastic drop target guides are unavailable that's the best I could come up with. I had to re-think that approach with an Alien Poker that I'm working on. The screw holes weren't stripped, they were mostly completely missing, the plastic studs were broken off. I removed the drop target guides, drilled through them, and inserted 5-40 screws from the back. Used plastic sleeves as spacers, then 5-40 nuts to hold the pc boards in place. So far everything is working.

I'm having the same issue with my Alien Poker. Did you have to drill through the mounting plate? What size drill bit did you use?
