So I know nothing about pinball machines other than what I read in the last 30 minutes or so. I normally deal in restoring pre-war electronics but on a trip to hunt for things a guy showed me this pinball machine. I was hesitant because as-said I am clueless about them but I threw a number out there and got it for $50. Figure that's not too bad if it turns out to be junk

Few questions I have.

One. are the keys for the back door all the same/something I can buy or am I going to have to drill it? Previous owner never touched it because he couldn't get the back open.

Also, I was trying to date it. I got a date range online from '68-'85. Is there a uniform place on these machines that show manufacturing date? Or does that really mater?

The outside has seen better days but everything under the glass seems in good condition at least visually. Everything seems to "be there" as in i couldn't tell of things obviously missing. Will know more when I start taking it apart.

One site said the value might be $300-$400 in decent shape. Is that the going rate? I've never heard of this game before so i might be less for all I know.

If it's not a money pit I may try to get it working. Seems pretty neat. I need to see what works and what don't first.

thanks all for the links. will look into it more. put a new power plug on it and it lights up, dings and all that. Will need some work though. Looks like the plastic bracket that holds the push rod is broke. Originally was going to sell it when done but I think I'm going to keep it instead!
