Is it possible to repair the slave displays? I'm pretty sure I have two of 4 that are bad. They were OK, but recently both have a single segment out.

Symptoms:

- Master was showing segments out as well, but work fine when all displays are unplugged. Segments B and D are out when all are plugged in
- Players 1 and 3 work fine when 2 and 4 are unplugged.
- Display 2 has segment D out (occasionally flickers)
- Display 4 has segment B out
- Bad segments move when switched to different location.

When 2 is plugged in resister R4 gets SUPER hot - need to replace this one, it now looks cooked
When 4 is plugged in resister R9 gets SUPER hot - appears OK, but will likely replace anyway.
