Picked up Derby Day without scenery. Any DD or HB II owners willing to provide a scan? Same scenery art and size on both pins, just different color scheme.

Although the PF layouts are different, the other change I see is in the backbox jones plugs. Plugging the DD backbox in after transport required lots of colorful language and after messing with cracked-in-half, jones plugs for 20 mins...I was irked. I own quite a few machines and this was the worst plug placement. They are located behind the horse's drive chains, under the horse track - tight spot. Hayburners II, a year later, shows a redesign and the jones plugs are easily accessible on top of the animation lightbox.New placement in 1968 - cropped from IPDB imageNew placement in 1968 - cropped from IPDB image

Anyone willing to scan some scenery? I can stitch it together...thanks in advance.
I'll make the resulting file available in case others are missing or have damaged scenery.

Hot dog, it's my time to shine!

I can scan the images to you later. Never thought I'd hear anyone want knowledge about Hayburners II.

Sounds good. I was trying to cob together the scenery based off several online pics but scans would be awesome.

Hello!

I have attached the images in the thread! I couldn't merge them into one file, but hope this helps.

Awesome:
- looks like you're missing the left side image
- could you show some overlap between image 2 and 3, easier to stitch together that way.

Well done @Cheberha. I just merged your scans into one image for you, partly with the help of Photoshop, and partly by hand. This is my result. Plus I cleaned it up a bit.

Cheers, Mal

I have to find a local printer and run some proofs but I'm getting close.

Anyone willing to take a quick picture of the sticker on the back "TO REMOVE SCENERY" - I'd like to include it since I've come this far.

I'm just catching up with this post, @pmoore66! Brilliant work.

Have you gone ahead and had the art printed? I'd love to buy a Derby Day background from you if it's possible.

Many thanks for all the hard work,

Matthew
