    Quoted from Gotemwill:

Thanks for all of the helpful information! If you’re able, could you take a photo of the rear swing panel? Here’s what mine looks like. I’m curious about the spring setup and the position of the micro switch.[quoted image]

The back of the game looks good. Are you concerned the hopper is dropping too slowly?

Now you just need to find that ever elusive topper for this game!

    Quoted from Gotemwill:

I’m currently going through my game to freshen it up. One of the main reasons was because my hopper seemed to have a lot of extra drag. The beans obviously create a dusty environment which can gum things up. Upon close inspection however, I found that one of the wheels that runs along the upper track had been installed backwards. They run on a straight axle and so installing it backwards with the bearing spacer on the outside caused extra play in the movement which made the hopper tilt to one side. The wheel must have been installed this way from the factory. I also cleaned up the bearings on the pointer assembly and now everything is moving smoothly.

I’ve never seen a topper for this game. Do you have any photos?

Thanks for the photo! Yours looks like a nice original game like mine. They are hard to find in this condition.

    Quoted from Gotemwill:

Wow, there’s a survivor! Looks to me like that was used on the 1955 Sidewalk Engineer bulldozer game.
If I had it, I wouldn’t think twice about putting it on my crane though.

Oh absolutely. It’s the only one I’ve seen. It fits perfect on top of a crane
