I have a Williams C-12417 Sound Interface Board for sale.

Do either of you have a picture of the board that you can post?

This board was used only in Truck Stop and Atlantis.

Is yours missing or is it broken?

My C-12417 Sound Interface board is missing. The Atlantis I purchased years ago was likely a donor machine and it looks like the OP pulled all the boards, flipper assemblies, displays and a few other odds and ends from it. This is the last piece needed before I start to do some testing and troubleshooting.

U3 LT1054 on this board is expensive to replace I'm not sure if they are hard to find at this point but that was what was wrong with mine. It provides the 14 +/- v to the amp chip symptom is the sound will be heavily distorted.

Don't have one for sell just a common failure point on this board in case the one you get is bad/does the same thing. The logic level stuff on it to change the trigger signal is pretty rebust.

$2.77 and available if this is the right variant. I was surprised when I looked this up slochar
There isn't much to the board. If I were good with KiCad, I'd whomp one up.

The board looks fairly simple from an electrical standpoint. One section to convert output signals from the logic board to input signals to the sound board. The other section to take the unregulated +14VDC input and create a regulated -12VDC output. There isn't a lot of current required for the output because it uses a 2N3904 for current flow.

The logic board is Midway (Bally). The sound board is Williams. This machine appears to be a hybrid from the time that Williams merged with Bally, taking technology from both worlds.

If I were to consider this board for reproduction, the biggest issue would be the physical dimensions (size) and mounting hole placement. A physical sample (actual board) would be ideal but since there is some slop, measurements of the mounting hole spacing and potential allowed margin would probably be enough to make something that is compatible and should work.

It looks like you might also need the Sound board (D-11581) and the Aux Coil Driver board (A084-91902) on top of the Sound Interface board (C-12417).

I have this head from a parted Truck Stop and it has the board you are looking for. I’ll DM you. There’s also a dedicated transformer for the sound board. I have that and some other parts if you need anything else.

Sound board is on its way to me, but I’ll have to see about the Aux Coil Driver Board. Maybe I missed that because it screws directly into the head? Most of the other boards are mounted to brackets with #8 x 32 hardware.

PM coming shortly for that C-12417 board at a minimum tdddddd. Thanks all!

I would love to have the display harness.
It connects the MPU display connector to the dual displays.
It can be removed in one piece.

Please let me know.
