Hey all, quick question.
I have a big guns. The PO made a left outlane (pic attached) kicker piece out of what I could only assume was a fiberglass arrow shaft. It mushroomed out and became a ball catch instead
I cut a new one out of steel round (pic attached). There doesn't appear to be enough room to put a rubber on the end of it, and I dont't even know how long it would last if I did.
My gut is telling me this would eventually shred my balls. If it's how they did it, well, I guess OK.
What do you guys think?

No suggestions? Obvious bump lol. I'm pretty sure more machines than "big guns" has the outlane kickback feature

Original part has a nylon insert at end of the shaft to contact the ball.

Marcos has one:

I would not use a metal shaft to kick the ball.

Agreed! Also, replace the coil sleeve/tubing. That piece looks shot.

Just imagine not having a rubber on your plunger but worse because it's a coil that fires it.

Thank you! I have the service manual, but obviously from the drawing you can't tell whats on the end of it. I should've crossed referenced it like you did- Thank You! on order...
