Should a Aztec pinball bonus unit start at 5000 or nothing?
Also, exactly how should the switches be configured on the bonus unit?

5,000. I looked on 3 you tube game play videos.

Starts at 1k I thought, mines torn down and been a while since I played it.

Does not start at 1k. The first light on bonus is 5k. However, there is one contact below that. When the ball goes to the outhole & releases the ball, where should the bonus be?

Also, when the shooter switch is triggered the bonus unit releases & wants to go back to zero. Is that correct?

5,000. Look at some videos of the game being played. 5,000 at game start and the same after drain and kick out for each ball.
