Sounds like a Player Unit problem, but Inspect and diagnose this circuit with Alligator clip jumper wires

The Reset relay should stay energized, and the No 1, No 2, and No 3 Reset relays should keep pulsing, until all 20 of the score drum units' Zero Break switches open, which should only happen when all 20 scores are reset to zero.
