I was wondering if anyone has the schematic/manual pdf, drop target decal file and cab stencil file? I have a firepower and there is a fantastic web site devoted to it. Didnt know if there was one for alien Poker also?

#173 4 years ago

Im more of a do it yourself guy. I have a us cutter stencil machine, didnt know if anyone had a file already. The same for making new drop target decals.

Does anyone have the color codes for the cabinet stencil paint?

#177 4 years ago
Quoted from Stretch7:

I colour matched one years ago then i went to use it on a second cabinet and it was way off ....so i would say just pick a blue and red that you like or is close and go with that.
This last cabinet is done with Solignum Black, Navy blue & red

Looks great. Did you make your own stencil or buy?

Here is some progress on my AP. The overlay install has been a success so far. Things are looking good. I will wet sand to get the orange peel out and then put a second can of 2k on and then wet sand that.

Im in search of the large plastic on the right of the playfield that spans over the shooter lane. I have 2 of them but both are cracked and broke at the shooter lane.

anyone replaced the score boards?

Is this a question about the previous post about lights stuck on or just asking in general?

I did all blue displays from Wolffpac, you can get them for around $150 but you will need to solder them. I think they look awesome.

Got a question for you guys, Does anyone out there have a problem dropping the 10 and Jack drop targets? It seems that if I hit them straight on or just a good solid hit they dont drop, but if I just glance them they drop very easy. The Queen, King, and Ace drop really easy no matter what angle or how hard I hit them. Does anyone experience this with their AP?

#223 3 years ago

I have a couple new ones in there ill have to see where they are located. Have you had this problem?

Quoted from Deafman013:

What angle are you guys setting Alien Poker to??
Mines on 5.5 at moment but when change to 6 the ball doesnt eject very well onto the lane at start the game.[quoted image][quoted image]

Like the ball isn’t making it to the left orbit?

You may need to adjust the metal corner lane bracket as it comes out from the shooter lane. I had the same issue on mine after I redid it. Just loosen the end screw and move it whichever way depending on what the ball is doing.

Game looks great, I miss the one I redid. One of the big reasons I sold it was because of those damn horseshoe sliders. I could never get them to read consistent on the drops.

If you have any problems you need to get the NMP drop sensors. I got some for my Trizone and they work perfect everytime. I got rid of my AP right before they came out, sucks.

Anyway great looking game.

Welcome. What are ya wanting to know?

Quoted from Bigdcardinals25:

Hey guys I'm new here but I just picked this guy up anyone's input would be great. Have a guy coming to get it all dialed in.
[quoted image]

Does the game work? One of the best functional mods you can do for this game is to install the NMP sensors for the drop targets. This will make your game register everytime a drop target goes down. The original horseshoe contacts are very hard to adjust and are not reliable. I would still have mine today if the sensors were available back then.

Quoted from Bigdcardinals25:

I have an alien Poker for sale give me your best offer. It turns on but I'm not sure how to get it going I have 3 new pinballs for it. Plus I have the original owners manual and schematics for it

Where are you located?

Quoted from Bigdcardinals25:

Anyone close to Midlothian IL 60445 that can possibly come look at my Alien Poker and can get it all dialed in and fix whatever that needs to get fixed on it?

Quoted from Firebird71:

I currently have some Wolffpac displays on order for my Jungle Lord. If I'm happy with them, next upgrade for the AP will be a set of those too. Anyone got an opinion on the best looking colour to use for displays on AP?[quoted image]

I put blue Wolffpac in my AP.

Quoted from Firebird71:

Thanks for sharing the pic! Blue is what I was thinking of going with personally but the wife said she typically has a hard time seeing blue LEDs compared to other colours. In person, how do you feel about the visibility of the blue?

I understand what she may be saying, but I dont have an issue with these. They look great in person.
