Hello everyone. I’ve been adjusting some switches on my 3 Coins machine, and noticed for the first time that the point score adjustment doesn’t work. On the instruction card, it states you will get one replay at 1100, with an addition credit at 1300,1400, and 1500. There are 2 sets of daisy wires, one red and one blue. From what the card explains, I would assume that 4 red wires would be used, one in the 1100 slot, one in 1300 and so on. I attached an image to the post to show the instruction card for setting it. Everything else works on the machine including the number match function. Not understanding why this doesn’t work though. My question, does the machine somehow actually know what the score is? I’m assuming maybe something is wrong with either the 100s score reel or somehow the 1 for 1000 needs to activate something that isn’t working. I’m not sure. Thanks.

Quoted from JWitty:

The game knows whether you've passed 1000 points and what number is showing on the 100s score reel. This is from Trade Winds, not 3 Coins, but it should be similar:

If none of the high scores work check the switch on the 100 point relay (upper left in the schematic above). If that checks out, unplug the game and all of the high score adjustment plugs and clip your meter onto the wire that leads into the 100 point score reel (21 in the schematic above) and to one of the positions on the adjustment jones plug. As you manually advance the 100 point score reel you should eventually see continuity or low resistance between those two points. If none of the 10 positions offers a path through the score reel chances are that the wiper inside that rides on the contact board is dirty.
