Lady Luck 1 pt relay (resized).jpg
#1 6 years ago

At start up on Lady Luck the 1 Point Relay energizes to turn the 1st player 1 point drum unit to reset. Once the drum unit hits zero the unit stops for a split second, then jumps to 1. The game is ready to play but the 1 point Relay does not de-energize, causing the coil on the 1 point drum unit to stay pulled in. Any ideals where I should start looking?

Is the No 1 Bumper relay stuck on too? If so it can hold on the 1 Point relay. If it is stuck on, check that the End of Stroke switches on the left and right pop bumpers are opening.

The 1 Point relay can also be held on because the End of Stroke switches on either 1 point score reel aren't opening.

Did you check all the switches on the playfield that score one point? Maybe they are too close together.

I adjusted the switches on the No. 1 Bumper, it now works. During a game the one point switches on the play field do not score. Going to start tracing wires to see if it’s a short somewhere.
