Hello all,

Was looking under my Flash today and noticed that the capacitors to both of the slingshot switches are no longer connected or were cut by the previous owner. Will this cause issues for the game remaining this way and any idea why they would have been removed? Just trying to confirm how to fix it/wire it correctly again. Want to make sure the the capacitor and resistor are connected to the proper legs.

Thanks in advance.

This was the explanation given to me on the purpose of the capacitor for my pop bumpers. Probably the same logic for your sling shots.

“Works with the resistor to form an RC network so that you get a pulse of known duration to give a good pop.
Without, it's only going to activate the circuit until the switch leaves stop touching. The RC pulse ensures one activation and any bouncing is ignored.”

I posted my problem in owners club
Thread. Right slingshot not as strong as
left. Adjusted switches ...no change. Finally
took closer look and capacitor leg was
broke off. Replaced it and it is like new
again.

Got it thanks everyone! Can anyone snap me a pic of their sling switches or tell me what switch leg I am supposed to solder it back to?

ChicagoPinReplay looks to me, based on last pic, to be busted off of the other side of that resistor (where the yellow/green stripe - or maybe it's just faded white/green stripe) connects to the switch.
