Quoted from Billc479:Go into test mode and look at the switch status - operate the drop target a few times to verify the machine sees the change of state. Just guessing, but I am willing to bet a bad diode on the switch matrix or a bad IDT connection.
Does that come from the 3 switchboard or the 10 switchboard ????
Quoted from cody_chunn:That would have been good to know, and would have changed my response.
Have you done anything else to it we should know about?
I changed them thinking I might stop
I didn't change them and then it started
It was doing that with the old solenoid and switch
Quoted from cody_chunn:This type behavior usually indicates the switch is stuck closed (target down) and multi-fires the solenoid trying to clear that switch. If you have the target up and enter TESTS; SWITCH LEVELS; is it one that reports active when it shouldn't? If you go on to SWITCH EDGES and thump that target down does the switch # appear? Then grab it with tweezers and pull it back up, does the # go away?
That's which doesn't go off when you manually lower and raise it.the switch only goes off when The up solenoid goes off.I think the piece that sets the switch off is on the wrong side of the switch.when the targets up the switch is compressed(on)
