Oh my God.
Are you like ten years old?
Quoted from Rarehero:Pro seems super solid…the only thing that I don't like missing on the Pro is the drop target in front of the shot that goes back to the shooter lane. IMO they should have done standup targets on the left instead of the 3 drops…and kept the drop (and maybe the spinner, too) on the right for the Pro. I like how that drop blocks the shot so it's not always a gimme…that shot will be way easier to make on the Pro.
I was thinking the same...but maybe that droptarget will be a SDTM shot like the extra ball target on white water
Quoted from littlecammi:If LEs are limited by Stern and premiums are limited by customer sales yet LE sales outnumber premiums, then making premiums isn't cost effective (the extra costs for special artwork, etc. for the premium aren't recouped over the small quantity of premiums sold and unused inventory of parts unique to the premium model are wasted expense). Perhaps a very low number of Mustang premiums were sold. Better for Stern to make the buyers choose to step up to the LE if they want full features or choose the pro for the lower cost (which seems to creep higher each year).
I would be fine with a premium model that had the LE playfield and the pro cabinet. This wouldn't require any extra development costs and might be a way to squeeze some extra revenue out of those who can't buy an LE and would have otherwise bought a pro. It would also bring in some buyers who wouldn't have bought either the pro or LE.
Quoted from RobT:Agree.
And this is going off topic, but....it makes me wonder what the value of Mustang LE will be in the next year? I mean I don't think demand is going to be very high...but it seems that supply might be very low, which means it might not drop as badly as pins like AVLE have?
A mustang LE sold at a close by auction NIB for $5100 recently. Still sounded like 2 much for me.
There's nothing special about the LE that could be stripped down to make a Premium though. (Side armor and back glass?)
So what's the price of a Premium going to be without side armor and a different back glass?
$200-300 less?

Look at Metallica LE and Metallica Premium. Prem has Pro decal & armor, and a unique translite. That's the difference. That's the dif on most Premiums.

Good call. I thought a Met LE had a shaker motor but I don't see it listed on the sales sheet.

Make fun of it but a glass of Bourbon three big lines and take one and she will not walk for two days. Read that somewhere .

Are you eight? Your comment I was replying to was equally immature. Apparently what's good enough for the geese ISN'T good enough for the gander, eh RobT(roll)?
Quoted from DaveH:Yes, there will definitely be a premium.
You sir are a MASTER at stating the obvious
