The show has promise and now that Kirkman is finally out of star trek his influence will fade away with subsequent seasons. Discovery was a turd is every respect. If this show sticks around I can't see there not being another star Trek pin. Its tradition!

It's a little too early to tell how it may fit since it's only 4 episodes and there will be at least 2 seasons (3 planned I believe). I'll keep a spot warm next to my TNG just in case though! I sure hope it'll happen (assuming the plot makes sense to apply to a pin).
In the meantime, could jazz things up by pulling in the musical scores from Picard into TNG if you have a Pinsound. I painstakingly redid all the music using music from the series and movies. Picard's opening theme might be good for the initial ball launch music.
