I don't know. I went and played Tron LE again and wish I would have bought that over the PRO.

I'm sure Sterns Margin is at least at 40% per game. I tend to think they are at or should be at around $2K to make a game. There is just so much that goes into these and unless they are clearing $1,000,000 per title I just do not see them staying around. There are so many people to pay, shows, licensing all of this has to cost Stern quite a bit.

What I cannot figure out is why they do not continue to make Tron as the demand is there and why not manufacture more? Is a license for a game set to make X amount and then that's it?

I'm sure the current titles available on their website like the Rolling Stones and Avatar is due to some overproduction.

My only guess is that they had to make an estimate as to how many would sell and did not want to risk holding inventory. They only have the production capacity to run so many titles at a time so they are focused on AC/DC and Xmen right now. The license is also expiring, I suppose, so that would put an end to the run. I'm sure they could have sold a couple hundred more units without a problem.

Where physical gameplay is basically the same, then Pro seems fine. I bought a Tron Pro but by time I did LE prices had gone crazy. But with just nib price difference, I likely would have gone LE. Differences between Pro and LE on Sterns since Tron seem to be much more significant so for most home collectors, they're gonna want the LE.

I do not foresee the LE's holding the value.
Why not sell Premiums and Pros and not make them limited? Make the Premiums have shakers, installed, mirrored back glass and side rails. Seems simple that way a PRo owner can convert to a premium anyway
We are also forgetting about those people who were buying Pros and modifying them. That market is now dead with the LE's available

Yep, Simply have a Pro and a Premium versions. $4200 for Pro, and $5400 for Premiums and let
the aftermarket Mods do the rest.
