Never gonna happen, and honestly I'm fine with that. Slots and pinball machines don't mix. Slots pretty much always get favored over pins it seems. A new place near me opened up recently that had "Arcade and skill games" on the sign and they had three pins, a couple arcade cabinets, and the rest of the building was filled with crappy "skill games" (For anyone who doesn't know skill games are basically just slots with an added "skill element", which usually involves something stupid that legally separates it from a normal slot machine). The owner said he wanted to make it a family friendly place with plenty of pure entertainment alongside the slots. Of course a few months go by and the pins and arcade cabinets disappear without a trace, and now it's nothing but slots. Yay...
If WMS decided to make pins again, it wouldn't last, and if Stern or JJP got into slots they'd eventually stop making pins.
