Quoted from AncasterStan:I agree that slots are more profitable...but if no casinos are buying new slots I'm thinking that these companies need to keep their staff working on something that there is a demand for... my two cents.
Casinos will NEVER go back to servicing pins for pennies. Yes its slow now but they will return with a vengeance and So will will the gamblers!!! Pinball is a labor of love with minimal profit. Haven't met many Millionaire route operators. Casinos want Billion dollar revenue not pennies for the fountain. In slots, WMS and Bally are making 100X what they would have made sticking with pinball. And thats even when they were pumping out 30K games a year vs the volume of today which is peanuts.
