I have a 1963 Swing Along machine. It was working fine but now when i try to start a new game, the hundreds wheel in the first player will no reset to 0. So the motor keeps running. I can manually make it zero and then play again but for the next game i have the same issue. Couple of times it stopped on 9 and then one on 4.

Check the reel itself. Could be gummed up and not moving. Pretty common problem.

Remove the reel, advance it by hand by actuating the plunger. Does it move easily through all the numbers? If not get your lube of choice out and get it moving well.

It moves well. No resistance at all. Just doesn’t stop at zero for some reason?

More info: when i hit reset the hundred wheel does no move. It changes while i am playing correctly.
