    It would be a mistake. You have to give yourself a chance of selling big numbers. I don't know about the US but in the UK ( and likely most of Europe ) it's a very bad idea. So bad you would probably sell more Gary Glitter machines.

    Trouble is Metallica and especially AC/DC are cool. ( to old and some young ) The latter have had recent massive tours and big selling albums. Kiss are not cool to anyone except a few out and out fans.
