I hear ya. I guess it just comes down to whether he was agreeing to the bet or agreeing with the statement from smalltownguy2. The fact that we're debating it means he didn't actually say anything at all, I suppose.
FWIW - I didn't make any speculative statements or pretend to have inside information. I just shared a photo that was being speculated on in the GnR threads in the more relevant thread.
Quoted from Concretehardt:I can’t understand why JJP hasn’t updated the code on this game.
It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense as it's the only JJP game that's been abandoned. I'm thinking it has to be something with the license and use of assets, but it could just be that the new owners don't want to sink any more resources into a game that wasn't profitable as it is. I'm still hopeful something will drop along with the blu tooth updates coming out, but who knows.
Quoted from Reznnate:Should be easy to re-license. No actors. No movie scenes (with actors?).
Every actor's face is all over the game, they just don't appear in the video clips. There was an interview with Jack where he mentioned that Chow Yun-Fat would not grant them his license, so his character was not included in the game. It sounds like there was at least some licensing involved with each individual actor.
