Will glue from a hot glue gun permanently adhere or melt playfield plastics?

Or is it good to use and easy to simply peel off when needed.

Thinking of using a run of the mill mini hot glue gun like this to try and adhere some mods to some clear plastics:

    Safe to use?

If are trying to stick some mods to playfield plastics, hot glue will probably not damage plastics, but it does not stick well to the slick surface, I find.

    I use Earthquake Putty.

I don't want a permanent, never going to get it off, type solvent bond but something I can remove cleanly if I ever need to remove the mod.

I think all mods should be able to be removed without permanent change to the game.

But thanks for the link, ive used that on cracked ramps and it works really well.

You need to use VHB tape instead used in the automotive industry for mounting car emblems on fenders. The heat from a hot glue gun will distort any type of plastic.
