I’m not a goonies fanboy or anything but it seems like it would be such a great theme. Any rumors out there of it being a future title? A Christmas story or a vacation (including a Christmas vacation mode) would be fun too...

Quoted from Mike_J:ET has a better shot than Goonies, but still very slim.
What about that random 90’s rock anomaly rob zombie?...I used to love that dude!
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:i hope not.
Iknowrite???!!
What we really need are more pins about terrible beer, cars marketed to women and over the hill rockers!!
Quoted from dmbjunky:Cars marketed toward women?
I'm scratching my head on that one. Was there a Danica Patrick pin announced and I missed it?
Mustang.
Quoted from dmbjunky:I missed the hype on Goonies. I watched Monster Squad, Explorers, ET and probably a few other "group of kids takes on the government/monster/criminals/alien/grown ups" movies. I didn't watch Goonies till a few years back and it was OK. Not much different from the others though.
Never heard of monster squad or explorers. Goonies isn’t a particularly ‘great’ movie any more than ghostbusters or Star Wars are great movies. It’s just a fun theme with some nostalgia. I just think it would be a fun pin. Pirates, the throw mamma from the train lady, sloth, underground passages, gadgets etc.
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Yep - classic Americana. Like pinball itself.
All much better pinball themes than movies with dumb plots and a cast full of annoying artificial kids.
See above. Sounds like dumb plots and paint by number kid actors are just as American as terrible hipster beer, milquetoast middle aged rockers and Virginia slims cars!
We agree...Goonies is terrible enough to be made into a pin!!!
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:No ... we don't agree at all.
They may all be products of American industries, but a stupid B grade 80's kids movie is NOT on the same level as a historic American produced beer, an iconic American car with a 50+ year production record, and beloved classic rock groups that have sold countless MILLIONS of albums.
Dude, we get it! You like terrible beer, women's cars and geriatric 'rock' and roll. (Oh and hate movies!)
Quoted from CrazyLevi:An ET game license? What could possibly go wrong?
Ha! It would make for a fun video mode...And maybe an easter egg about a landfill somewhere in there lol...
