Quoted from Zablon:Are they wiping down the machines after each person?
If by “they” you mean the next person that plays the machine and is concerned about it enough to take action then yes.

Quoted from Blitzburgh99:7.53 billion humans on earth
Less than 3000 dead from coronavirus
That’s 0.00003 percent chance of death from it
Your math is misleading. 88,498 confirmed cases resulting in 3043 deaths so far is a 3.4% - IF you catch it. That’s a higher death rate than other infectious outbreaks in recent years.
Pay attention to the CDC and WHO websites for the most current information.
https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
I’m still going. Still helping run the tournaments. Nothing the CDC has published indicates my risk is significantly higher than for other illnesses.
I encourage everyone to assess their own situation and act accordingly.

Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Being nonchalant
You’re being ridiculous. Making a different decision than you doesn’t equate to being nonchalant.
Do the research. Assess your own situation. Act accordingly.
Quoted from Bublehead:lower expenses of not actually having the show
What expenses of not having a show? It was a couple weeks away. Everything for 2020 has probably already been paid for.
I know those of us working the tournaments bought our stuff long ago. You don’t wait until the week prior if you want to run a successful event.
