I don’t think you have to worry about the Acadia or Traverse for the pin itself. Obviously measure twice before attempting. Make sure not only you have the clearance to get in, but the clearance at the angle you need to get in to clear the folded back seats.
I’ve had slight clearance issues with the last generation Terrain. About 1/2” too short for a HUO. But the Acadia has substantial more room. The pin itself should fit without issue. With the box should be a measurement.
