He was great actor, but great narrator too, as in " last of the dogmen"

    #6 3 months ago

He wasn't just a postmaster, he was also a general.

Some great appearances over a long period.

Our House, The Natural, End Of The Line, Tender Mercies, The Electric Horseman, How The West Was Won, True Grit, The Waltons, and so many more TV shows and movies.

    I'll miss him.

Cocoon. Wasn't he in The Thing with Kurt Russell?

    #14 89 days ago

My coworker use to listen to these Wilfred soundboard prank calls. Priceless

    Quoted from LTG:

    The Natural

I thought he didn't actually have Diabetus, but his doctor said he looked like someone that would?

My wife and I did the math last night and all she could was “WTf, he was the same age you are now in Cocoon “. Unreal

And for those of you joking about oatmeal. About 20 yrs ago my dr was freaking out about my cholesterol levels. Wanted to put me on statins. I said she should give a year to excecise and make some changes. A year later she couldn’t believe how improved my levels were. She wanted to know what my excercise regimen was. I told her all I did was wake up every morning and eat oatmeal or Cheerios. She was in shock.

It was a great actor, plenty of great roles, especially Cocoon and The Thing.

    #37 89 days ago

He was superb in “The Natural.” They could have named the movie after him as a natural at playing an old-school baseball manager.
