    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

o you are calling WOZ and JJP pins loaded pieces of crap? Lol. I rather have a loaded game (JJP) for $9k then one rather baren (Stern) at $9k with a lack of 3D molds, and features. At some point these prices need to be justified by featues and Stern simply doesn't consistently do that.

Stern $9,000 game is for chumps that want a low run game JJP 5000 units is not a low run game for JJP fans who like dumb ass shit like small runs the price is $12,500 not $9,000

$15k for a piece of an old couch anyone? Lol

You won't find me try to justify these dumb ass prices JJP went to $12,500 the second he saw 16k on batman by the way you can still find CE DI games LOL http://pinballs.com

    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

I don't doubt Stern games are fun, that's never been the issue. In my opinion Stern isn't justifying their prices with a similar amount of features, quality, and code depth compared to JJP yet is charging near the same price (for premiums / LE's). If I'm going to spend $7500 - $9k+ on a pinball machine I feel that I get the most value and fun with a JJP game.
Check out the first episode of the JJP pinball podcast that was just released. After hearing that all I could think is "that's the type of company I want to buy a pinball machine from" due to how passionate they are about creating the best pinball machines on the planet. JJP seems first driven by passion and Stern by profit. If that wasn't true Stern wouldn't be trying to save 25 cents a game on cheaper coil stops while charging $6k - $9k+ for their games.

Talking value on a 9k pinball game

    #282 3 years ago
    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Yeah pricing is crazy across the board but if I'm going to spend $9k+ on a new pinball machine of all things it's going to be a JJP title as they offer more features, quality, and code depth / variety in my opinion.

I would never buy a LE game and if I did it sure as hell would not have a run of 5000 lol comparing a Stern premium to a JJP standard makes more sense as for the CE game for fools only

    Quoted from branlon8:

Oh come on, you gotta see the humor in that - setting the number of “Limited Editions” higher than the number they’ll probably ever sell

Even the smaller LE runs by Stern can take yr's to sell out LOL

    Quoted from Tranquilize:

Yes, but many sell out in a day.

No more than one in three sells out in a day the games that do not take quite some tike to sell out. The 5000 LE runs are a joke and are not limited at all

    Quoted from sven:

I think Guns 'n Roses is 'bigger' than Metallica, Aerosmith or Iron Maiden.
Sometimes I see a teenager here walk with a Guns 'n Roses T-shirt, or Bob Marley, or Nirvana. If I'm not mistaken that almost never happens with one of the other bands that have been used as a recent pinball-theme (or maybe I just don't notice those t-shirts ).

LOL those teens are not wearing tees of bands they actually listen to they are wearing whats in

Slash went off on a jam playing Zep and Hendrix

Lol what the hell does that tell you

    Quoted from Skyemont:

I agree. I had a TZ fully decked out. Beautiful example but to complicated for the casual player.

Lol TZ is easy as pie compared to any JJP game

    Quoted from PtownPin:

I think Wonka standard was $7500....keep in mind their standards are more line Stern premiums....LE's were $9K, which is basically in line with Stern LE's with way more additions than Stern provides

The difference is if you care about that sort of thing a run of 5000 is not an LE game

    #609 3 years ago
    Quoted from rai:

    JP LE, Elvira, Maiden premium,

None of these games are lacking as for being worth $9000 I have never seen a game worth that kind of money
