I have to admit I do have a can...... I use it for rusted parts such as leg levelers frozen in the legs. Have experimented with using it with steel wool to remove rust on said legs, but have mostly graduated to a lightening rust bath for that. Would never use it inside the game!

Mechanism looks great! Assume you are going with PBR replacements at some point? I have used a silver (or gold) paint pen to touch these up if no other options.

Quoted from Darcy:

There a product called Bare Metal Foil. The plastic car modellers use to make chrome or gold parts. It is like Gold leaf or Silver leaf but is much thicker. It can be burnished onto the recessed area on the targets. Then you carefully remove the excess. This stuff may hold up longer and is more shiny than paint.

Just did the targets on a Quick Draw and used black/silver paint pens. I then apply mylar over the touch ups. You can't tell once in the game. Of course this takes time, so what is yours worth? I do it for the fun/hobby enjoyment!

Spray coatings won't hold up to a ball bashing it repeatedly! (Yes, I have tried it.... ) Hence, my mylar suggestion. Hot stamp technique is actually really durable. Think how many times it gets hit, and only a little ink loss after thousands of plays.
