It's always bugged me - Tron is a fantastic pin, but why didn't they go with metal habitrails over the plastic return ramps? Anyone know?

It's always bugged me - Tron is a fantastic pin, but why didn't they go with metal habitrails over the plastic return ramps? Anyone know?

Ah that makes sense. Honestly I wasn't sure the reasoning (I sort of assumed cost). The fiber optic stuff is neat, though I like me metal ramps. I didn't think about the service issue, though. Makes sense since the habitrails on STTNG require quite a bit of work to get setup right.
