Do you have a link to the original concept art for it? I'd never heard about that or seen it.

Very true.
Weirdly, though, I had the opposite experience with Congo; played a nice clean one first that's the envy of a lot of local guys, and hated it. I was having bad game after bad game and couldn't get into it. Played a really messed up one on the road once with a few friends and got into it. Came back and played the first one again and loved it.
