Quoted from PanzerFreak:

These are among the worst types of threads on Pinside and should be locked / deleted as they serve no purpose other then to bash a game. It's a trolling thread and should be closed. Might as well rename the thread to "The Official Bash GNR Club Thread".
On a final note I own a GNR LE, it's not leaving my collection, and I'm not going to waste my time arguing about why I enjoy it with the usual JJP Pinside bashers.

A "troll" thread seems to simply be one in which you don't care for the content. Pinside has already become way "kinder and gentler" over the years (maybe to its detriment?). Price policing has been frowned upon for years. And now, you want people to only be able to say nice things about a game? Do you want debate to be a thing of the past on Pinside too? All types of opinions and thoughts (about pinball on Pinside) make the world go 'round.

Quoted from DrJoe:

GNR has fallen in value and used ones can be picked up for $1,000 under new now.

Pinheads are spoiled. Used things are supposed to sell for less than identical copies of new things.

Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:

my 6500 woz is now worth about 11-12k, my 8k hobbit is now worth 10,500, my 7800 dialed in is now worth $8500-9k. ......... maybe a bubble bath!

A rising tide lifts all boats, I suppose. WOZ plays like Atari Hercules.
