Yeah, I have 2.7 eco boost twin turbo, she scoots, but definitely more there.
Quoted from dts:Looks like there are 13 GnRs for sale right now, and 20 Godzillas. Who cares? I sold my GZ but still have GnR, just my preference, for now. I may go back to GZ again later and sell GnR. It's all just for fun.
There are NOT 20 legitimate ads for GZ.
There are still several old ads from distributors for GZ. They are not in stock nor available for shipping right now. I've been monitoring GZ for awhile because I'm interested in it.
I've called several distributors about GZ and they all say it won't be available until late 2022 or 2023 if you didn't preorder.
Hopefully increased GZ production will help bring the used price down. Very few GZ owners are selling, other than at scalper prices way above the plummeting price of GnR.
At least with GnR, you can get a deal below original cost, so that's good.

I just put my name in for a Premium(March 2023) but I was told only 60 Days on the Pro.
Quoted from blacklightprod:I honestly don't listen to Guns N Roses music although I do like some of their songs. Being truthful I don't really listen to Aerosmith, ACDC, Beatles, and basically all these music pins. With that being said I have a Guns N Roses, Beatles, Aerosmith, Metallica, etc. Why because they're all great games and just calling a spade a spade NO MUSIC pinball has ever captured the theme under glass like Guns N Roses. GNR pinball is simply the best music pinball by far if not the greatest themed game in pinball history. You might not love all the shots, the game rules, or whatever no one likes every aspect of every game. With that being said the GNR is fun, and the theming has never been matched by a single pinball game ever created. Name one? If you're a GNR fan then you're on cloud nine to own this game. If you're a pinball collector this is a MUST HAVE. If you're a tournament player then maybe or maybe not the game for you.
Everything always boils down to what you're specifically looking for in a game. I think the people on pinside need to understand there are more types of buyers than just your tastes. Maybe your background is simply hardcore pinball tournaments not every game is for you. If you're a hard core collector then like all the shots or not you HAVE TO BUY A WIZARD OF OZ. Maybe for you its all about the theme, doesn't matter how good the pinball game is or isn't... someone makes star wars day one you're buying.
Everyone buys for different reasons. With all that being said there are hundreds of reasons to buy Guns N Roses. The artwork is amazing, lighting, sound, graphics, integration of theme, and the amazing layout. To each their own.
When production stops on Guns here soon as JJP ramps up their next game, watch GUNS over the next year skyrocket in value.
Anyway my take.
I haven't played many games on it(might get boring) but the few that I did play were some of the best pinball I have ever played. And I don't much like Guns and Roses.

I see a couple of dealer ads but 18 appear legit across the three models. I sold my LE to a buddy within a month of owning it but got back in line for a Pre to give it another try with more code. My point is that the number of games for sale may not mean much, especially with high volume games in production.
Quoted from blacklightprod:Pinside honestly is a very toxic place to debate subjects. Talking about how to fix a game amazing. No one is allowed their own opinion or a difference of opinion. I think what I said was very fair guns n roses has more put into that game than any game ever made. The amount of artistry, toys, artwork, lighting I mean drum sticks for a rail. C'mon. Again you may not like the game but it doesn't change the fact more effort was put into creating this game than anything ever created for pinball.
I realize it started about how many are for sale but in typical pinside fashion the topic changed. My opinion on why so many are for sale is simple the game has been out for almost 2 years, and JJP has sold about 4,500 games. That isn't unusual. Furthermore you see a lot of games for sale people are clearing space for the new JJP to the next Stern. I don't see anything unusual there.
Again if you're a GNR or music pin fan you'll never sell that game. I look around I see every title for sale it is what it is.
As boats it is boat season. So you have that.
Pinside is not toxic. People are toxic. You always have the choice on who you interact and hang out with.

Owners not selling yet.... it will happen make no mistake. There are a shit load of them out there and that would bother me if I grabbed one now. Im patient and waiting.... couple more elwins down the line and these will readily pop up. Simple fact is every swinging dick in the hobby has one or is getting one so fast forward ahead and GZ is not going to be hard to acquire.

And now it's also about boats.
And Fords

Totally agree.
Easy to be patient with these ridiculous used GZ prices.

Lmfao!
As for the topic , I sold mine , and when I get to the 7-8 pin range I will get another .They may have made all 5k LEs for all we know .There will always be dozens for sale so just find your “must sell” guy and you’ll always break even when the time comes .That’s all I got .
Quoted from littlecammi:I felt really bad for you when I read that you lost your job and your dog.

Thanks Todd, but I was referring to GZ.
I was looking for GZ but it's hard to find right now without paying scalper prices.
I see plenty of GnR's to pick from. My local CL currently has two listed for sale - immediate pickup with no shipping or tax.
Yeah... GZ is great and getting better. I actually sold/traded my GZ Premium for a JP and $1500 a few weeks back figuring it would be easier to get a GZ down the line than a JP as they are making a ton of GZ.
I am under the impression we will see quite a few G&R come up for sale in the next few months as Toy Story (hopefully) releases. G&R is one of the few games you can get NIB these days so I'm expecting between these two factors for G&R to go down in price a bit. I may snag one for a while. Saw a G&R standard go for $6700 near me last week.

Now that GnR is going off the line (for what will likely be a very long time) the NIB stock will dry up in a few months. By year end, GnR’s will be going up in the price when NIB is unobtainable.
I do wonder how many GnR were made though. Anyone know?

I'm a fan of JJP GNR...
Having said that, why do you believe they will be off the line for "a very long time"?
I don't think I've ever seen so many variations over time as JJP did with WoZ. I bet we keep seeing various editions for a long time...
Quoted from altan:Having said that, why do you believe they will be off the line for "a very long time"?
JJP can’t meet their order demand, they did a small run of WW during GnR but that was it. JJP doesn’t change up the line as frequently as Stern. I think they are going to try and release more titles as well, rather than just one every two.
I do agree with you though, they will make more GnR’s with a new art package one day, it’ll happen for sure…I just don’t think it’ll be before 2025(ish).

JJP has 4 designers now that will be looking to get new games on the line. I don't think they'll have much time to produce games to fill their back catalogue. Back in the WOZ and Hobbit days they had 1 or max 2 designers which is why you saw so many runs of WOZ and Hobbit.

I'm just speculating here, but my gut tells me it's cheaper to keep producing the same game.
Having more designers (and therefore more games) isn't a path to more $$$ unless they can get more volume out of it.
If they improve their manufacturing (aka, more volume), which I assume is something they are working on (because they hired more designers) they'll also be able to make previous games in addition to new ones.
If GNR is popular (I assume it still is), it's hard for me to believe JJP will not make more --- sooner than later.
But who knows... just speculation on my part.

I agree but you have to keep your designers happy and keep your product fresh. What if they decided right now to postpone Toy Story 6 months to do another run of Pirates or Wonka because there is still demand and it is cheaper build? I don't think Steve Ritchie or Eric want to wait 3 or 4 years until their next game is releases.

I recently took delivery of a LE numbered a little under 3800. How many CE's were produced?

Pretty ironic considering the tour/game is named for a 2012 quote from Axl when asked about a reunion. "Not in this lifetime" ...unless the money's right.

Nobody really knows!!!
I assumed that GNR, INC. is in fact Axl, and everybody else are paid employees at this point, but you never know. Could Axl have been humbled enough by dwindling concert attendance to give some of that back up to Slash and Duff?

Nobody knows for sure, although this article points out that nothing was ever officially transferred according to registered trademarks, it remains Axl, Slash and Duff, at least on paper.
