Agreed, and it's not just shipping to Canada. US shipping from Marco is expensive and gives limited options.
The only option for smaller items is USPS Priority - flat rate of $8.99 - which may be a great deal if you live in the Pacific NW, but when I live less than 100 miles from the place, and I have to pay $9 minimum for anything I get shipped, it seriously reduces the amount of stuff I will order from Marco. They are fantastic on the Customer Service, I really do like them a lot, and recently made a small order. There is no option to select anything OTHER than USPS Priority, and it cost $11 total for a 6" envelope, containing two springs that weighed approximately .25lb and traveled less than 100 miles. Seriously, $11.25 total - for $2 worth of parts. Those two springs could have been put in an envelope and shipped for $.45.
I don't mind so much when I'm ordered ramps or larger pieces. But $9 in shipping, to send TWO SPRINGS less than 100 miles DOMESTICALLY is absurd. Adjustments need to be made here. I didn't need them in 2 days, I've been waiting months to replace them. Just give me cheap, slow, REGULAR domestic shipping and I'll be more than happy to wait an extra day, instead of paying triple the normal rate.
