    Quoted from o-din:

It doesn't have to be a brand new band, but one relevant to the 21st century like the Red Hot Chili Peppers

    RHCP are 35 years old

Give us a band from THIS century, not from 4 decades ago

"You know why I like pinball? Because it's filled with my grandpa's music." quote never heard at the arcade.

The only rock band left that did not get a pin (and it's **only** 20 years old) is Rammstein

    Quoted from Frippertron:

The only music pin I would buy, would be The Misfits. It would never happen, but the imagery and music would be intense. If only Glenn Danzig would agree to it.

Danzig lost the rights to The Misfits back in the 80s; Doyle & Only received the rights to record/perform under that name.

The original Misfits did perform a few days ago in Vegas & LA, so maybe a 40th anniversary Misfits disc is in the works....

(looks like Glen already had the videos taken down from last night's concert, lol)

    Quoted from ChrisS:

I love this idea. Bring on the 80’s Hair Bands!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They could call it "Super Gay!"

It would be marketing genius, as there has not been a game made with "gay" in the title since 1971!

    Quoted from Bingovit:

Why this doesn't get anymore reaction is beyond me!
Rammstein would be an interesting choice with lots of video to pull from there video clips which are mostly really cool and could work very well to fit into modes!

Rammstein is "only" 20 years old. They are much too heavy and young for Pinside.

...And they are the only metal band willing to whip it out for the fans and make a XXX music video

99% of the guys on Pinside only want bands that are 50+ years old.

They are looking for the true fossils of rock:

    Beatles = 59 years old

The Who = 54 years old

Pink Floyd = 53 years old

Creedence Clearwater Revival = 51 years old

Led Zep = 50 years old

Black Sabbath = 50 years old

    Rush = 50 years old

    Quoted from pezpunk:

....... it's not at all a sad cash grab by a bunch of saggy, tired, litigious, balding old men.

Doyle is 54 years old and has a 30 year old girlfriend.

He don't look too saggy to me....

Jerry Only is even older at 59, he still looks solid for a grandpa:

Danzig, the oldest of all of them at 62, was still solid a few nights ago at the reunion too.

    Quoted from Pin-up:

It's not music, but what if someone made a Monty Python pinball? That would be a great theme with TONS of material to pull from, be family friendly, and a hell of a lot of fun!

    Always family friendly........

    Quoted from pezpunk:

in another year or two, Jerry's devillock is gonna have to be made out of his back hair.

You can make fun of his hairline, but nothing is fatter and balder than a pinball expo.....

    Quoted from Bohdi:

    How about something ORIGINAL.

Everybody cries out ORIGINAL but all Pinside does is bitch about original themes whenever they appear.

Dialed In - How stupid, a game with a cellphone on it!!!!!!! I'm not getting tied into another 3 year contract like I did with Verizon.

Big Juicy Mellons - Stupid Stern, my wife is not going to let me have a game with a woman holding Cantaloupes !!!!! What if my 14 year old daughter saw that????? It's friggin fruitnography!!

Total Nuclear Annihilation - Who's going to buy a new game with no ramps????? It's like a neon painted EM!!!!!

    #122 6 years ago
    Quoted from Flowst:

Next from Stern, the Autotune Drum Machine Special Edition.

It's funny that all the old guys bitch about Autotune, but it's been used since the 1970s by every major artist (Ozzy, Queen, Crue, Plant, Floyd...). Back then it was called the Eventide Harmonizer, and was a godsend for correcting vocal pitch.

In the late 90s producers started using the pitch software as an actual vocal effect (think of Cher's "Believe" ) and the sound caught on like wildfire.

Singers like T-pain who made themselves famous with the "Autotune effect", sing even better without it, but you got to give the people what they want:

    Quoted from pezpunk:

dude, two of those games are currently sitting at #6 and #19 all time on the Pinside Top 100. I think it's fair to say they were VERY well received!

    Yawn......

Games that don't even have final code, and only a few thousand people have played - OMG the #6 game of all time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if you believe it, more power to ya.

    #127 6 years ago
    Quoted from pezpunk:

Your point was that Pinside hates original themes. I proved you wrong. What more do you want?

I want you to behave like a real, thinking, human being.

Read the posts about Dialed-In and relish in the bitch-fest.

A voting poll that most pinsiders don't take part in is not the bitch-fest that went on about the game on the forum.

    Two totally separate things.
