I'm just curious why Roadshow is not used in tournaments? I was reading thru the different set up notes for games on the papa.org website: http://papa.org/competitive/directors/game-notes/ and just happened to notice that RS isn't there. I would think it would be a decent game for tournament due to the linear flow of the game to even out the competition a bit. I wonder if anyone has looked into rewriting the roms so that the modes are random as opposed to being linear like they are now? This would be similar to a thread I saw the other day where the roms were updated for JP so stampede isn't the mode you always start with. Just curious.

Have no idea but I played one in a tournament setting a madrollins pinball tourney in WI just last month.

The game was used in this year's PAPA world championships A bank, so presumably it just hasn't been added to the big ol' list yet.

Good to know. There is no tutorial for that game either I just wasn't sure.

My guess is that generally in the hands of a really good player, it plays really long... unless you gimp the machine to make it tougher. I wonder if the PAPA machine was gimped.

I've played "tough" examples of it and I don't consider myself a great player at all, and the games have lasted 5+ minutes every time without fail. I wish I liked it more, my 3 year old thinks it's a hoot.

We had one in the Clock Chaos tournament at MGC last year.
