I've seen multiple people say "Just hire HEP to fix it!" and while Chris is basically a miracle worker and has decades of experience with high end professional paint jobs, I doubt he would open their eyes with some revelation they have missed this entire time. I believe they already know how to solve this, but it probably costs more money. If they hired Chris to consult on this issue he would tell them how to do it RIGHT (aka $$$) which they want to avoid at all costs (pun intended). Chris doesn't cut corners because he doesn't want to or have to, his customers spend a premium for a world-class collector's game and his business model works well for Chris and his customers. JJP is charging premium prices for games with the MAIN FEATURE that is falling apart early and they are ducking their heads in the sand and hoping for this to all blow over until their next release is announced and sells out and people forget. The changing of their warranty terms is an especially bold move. I sure hope that people don't forget, and I'm seeing the signs now that JJP will need to make some drastic changes, and fast, to repair their reputation.

Quoted from zr11990:

Where is John Greatwich? He has been printing playfields on a printer for a long time. His don’t fall apart. Maybe he could shed some light on the subject.

Spooky as well. My RZ playfield was stunning and perfect all around.

Quoted from insight75:

I'm going to start making playfields and use a tempered glass coating instead of clear coat..... But seriously, I know Mirco posts here....why nothing on this matter?

Because people would attempt to hold them accountable and ask how they are addressing the issue. They would rather just be silent, it's much much easier.

Anybody in the market for a second-hand JJP game is going to specifically be looking for this damage and the price of the game will be lower because of it.

You guys can bitch about Mirco all you want, and I don't necessarily disagree with that, but you didn't buy from Mirco. You bought from JJP who is 100% responsible for all purchased and manufactured parts within the game they sold you, and they don't give a shit about your quality issues.

Can anyone sum up the current situation? Did the playfields ever improve?

Quoted from Extraballz:

Well we are dealing with Snowflakes who like to cancel people. They need to toughen up a bit or the world will eat them alive.

From what I've seen, most people who call others "snowflakes" tend to have the most attributes of what they think a snowflake is, themselves.

Quoted from zaphX:

It's simple. I control the things I can. Playfield damage is something that can be rectified with a new playfield so I went ahead and planned on buying one.
Problem out of mind.
Then this offer came out which reduced the price by 50% which is nothing but great news to me.

You sound like a salesman's wet dream

JJP IS RESPONSIBLE!!!!

regardless if the root cause is Mirco.

Quoted from HomerEBW:

With Expo around the corner, you know people are going to talk to JJP employees on the playfield issues. Do you think they will acknowledge them on the issue?

You're a funny guy!

JJP: Do better. Your poor playfield quality and lack of ownership is a joke.
