Quoted from zr11990:

GnR is beautiful but that is all. The code sucks. You bat the ball around till you qualify for a song then you play the song and you do it again. The endless multiballs have no point and they are tiring. Im glad mine is sold

Dude we get it, you played the game for 5 mins and didn’t like it. You don’t have to shit on the game every chance you get. I’m 99.99% sure the game doesn’t suck.

I’ll give it a month before you get rid of your JP for kicking your ass too much.

If you play pinball for a story i think you’re doing it wrong

I can describe any pinball game ever made and make it sound like the most boring simple thing ever

So I plunged the ball and flapped my flippers to hit a few shots and then I drained, lame. Insert game name here ___

Why does the ink only seem to lift around some posts? Never seen it lift on an over tightened ball guide or from the ball repeatedly smashing against the playfield. Some posts have issues while others don’t. Obviously there is a serious issue but some of it just doesn’t add up to me....

Quoted from Rum-Z:

It lifts around ball guides that are mashed into the playfield. It's lifted on my Iron Maiden, Batman 66, & AC/DC Luci. I had to Iron those areas down with Yelobird's method and then I put little fiber washers underneath all the ball guides to prevent it from happening again. I preemptively added washers under ball guides on my TMNT.
Stern should be trimming art from underneath ball guides just the same as posts.

Not on GNR though. Totally agree that ball guides pool on sterns.

I know you think this is hilarious but it’s actually a terrible analogy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a bad defect and JJP has handled it terribly, but it doesn’t prevent you from driving the car and enjoying it.

This. We complain and cry, but line up to buy more games from them. We KNOW we will get fucked, but we buy them anyway. I dont feel bad if you buy from them and this happens. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
I was a huge jjp fan boy. I've given up on them, now. They're pathetic.

They may be pathetic but stern isn’t much better. Been waiting for months for them to resolve similar issues.

I'm going to say something that may piss people off...
But JJP games arent really that "fun."
I've owned three games and have only kept the one that I think is really good: Hobbit. At one point I was going to make it by mission to collect them all.
I bought dialed in. Loved how it looked. It was a spectacle of technology. But it lost its charm after a while. The game wasn't all that fun. Never did I really love the crap out of the gameplay. Bought woz because I thought the toys were cool. But jesus, the shots suck and it is a slog. No satisfying shots. Gnr has no shots that are fun and sorta reminds me of woz in how it is a beautiful specitcal, but the game isn't great.
I guess what I'm saying is, I thought jjp was going to be the second coming of williams, but now I wouldnt care if they sorta just went away. Like, just go and fucking die already with all your playfield issues combined with lousy customer service and games that aren't all that fun.

You should update your dialed in review.

Quoted from Palmer:I respect your opinion and agree with you in general EXCEPT I think GNR is NOT fun to shoot.

Totally agree but GNR is a fun shooter

If you’re taking apart the pinball machine for hours/days while putting in washers then you are not driving it.[quoted image]

You seem to have plenty of time on your hands, sounds like the perfect game for you

Quoted from GPS:Maybe this is a stupid post but here goes….I would think if Slash had so much involvement in this game he would be putting some pressure on JJP to figure the shit out. We have all heard about how was involved in a daily basis. Now nothing. Has he and the band got their cash and now they’re gone? Just wouldn’t think anyone would want to be attached to a game that has so many issues. Basic issues but then again, if he’s gotten paid he’s out

New flash

Slash couldn’t give two shits about this

Quoted from Doctor6:

Remember, my offer to playfield swap for people in this forum still is standing. 100 bucks and I keep the old playfield. I'll swap it for you.

That's a great deal!

I’m pretty sure they will sell you a replacement playfield, I was basically told as much. After production though, not sure if the case is different with CEs. Maybe they don’t have any more CE playfields.

That is part of the reason they chip but not why they pool
