Would like to share something that may be helpful.

Another pinsider dnapac was working with me to buy his spot if you will fit his gnr LE. I had some questions as did he and so we both emailed Jen at JJP. I never heard back and neither did Doug so he called to day and was told the following (I am paraphrasing). Your 1000 deposit is non-refundable. JJP will not change any of the paperwork associated with the sale so even if I were to buy the game from Doug and have it delivered to me, I would have no warranty as they sold the game to Doug not me. Doug also shared that he talked to another pinball company that purchased a gnr and he advised he was told that it came with a disclaimer for any issues associated with the playfield. Nice.

I was looking forward to finally being able to buy a nib game and I liked the theme. I was even trying hard to not take the negative press so seriously. Jens perceived attitude today as shared with me by dnapac has unfortunately solidified that I think I am going to have to oss on this game and maybe just holdout for another. This is not the way to handle customers JJP. Wait till times get a bit tougher here in the near future and you may be sorry that you did not treat your customers and potential customers a bit better.

And that would be fine, with the exception that I still have no warranty because the game was sold to another individual. So yes that could solve the shipping problem but I still have bought a $10,000 game and have zero warranty because I’m not the quote, original purchaser.

Maybe this is a stupid post but here goes….I would think if Slash had so much involvement in this game he would be putting some pressure on JJP to figure the shit out. We have all heard about how was involved in a daily basis. Now nothing. Has he and the band got their cash and now they’re gone? Just wouldn’t think anyone would want to be attached to a game that has so many issues. Basic issues but then again, if he’s gotten paid he’s out

I am in full agreement with many that have said vote with your wallet. Nothing can be more true. Now having said that I am about to pickup an LE that is still in the box. I am paying a fair value fir the game but certainly the most I have ever paid. Also this is the first new machine I have ever had. This thread has been very helpful in identifying issues. While I am certain that my game will eventually have them, with the amount that I play any of my games, I’ll probably be dead before it turns into a real issue!

The theme is, for me, a good one. Don’t like all their stuff but, personally, if I compare this game with LZ, which I just saw on location in Akron, Ohio for example, this title blows it away. Just aesthetically it is IMO superior. Maybe that is what others are hanging their hat on as well. It is just a beautiful machine. Looking forward to playing it and then mostly wiping it with a diaper!!
