Short answer is because they continue to purchase faulty playfields, unfortunately.

I guess if anyone takes JJP up on that $499 extra pf deal, they can have Ron do his magic to make it solid as an extra layer of peace of mind.

LOL. I totally get that. I certainly wouldn't do all that swap work and use the playfield as is, knowing the new one will chip a hundred plays in. I'd have to have Ron or someone do a real professional job before investing the time and labor that the swap would take.
