I'm in the very same boat, I have a LE scheduled to arrive in the next few weeks. Do I accept shipment only to dismantle quite a bit of it to add those hard PETG washers which as someone mentioned " do they really work or do they possibly only spread the damage area? " Or do I pass at this point in time and let someone let receive theirs first and take one later down the road? As we know it's a hobby the contains a steel ball and wood field, of course we know and expected there will be dimpling and some basic use indicators but this is quite a bit beyond that.

Do those softer titan washers work? What about larger base posts like a star post etc with washers? I'm sure many others thought of these measures too and would like to hear the results their finding with their machine if they had done any of them. However I do know in all locations that star post won't let itself to work in all areas.

Quoted from zr11990:

It was georgious and at first it was fun but there truly is nothing but qualify for the song and play the song. When you finish the song you can collect a jackpot or play the song again, rinse and repeat.

Quoted from zaphX:

I literally just told you all of the things there are to shoot for and achieve aside from "qualify for the song and play the song."

You really missed the mark.

^ Exactly. How do you judge a game coded by one of the deepest coders in the field that you owned for less time then some folks take dump, as just rinse and repeat. You really didn't give it a fair shake at learning what's involved. Playfield problems aside, the rules in here are fantastic and there are tons of streams on YouTube explaining them including numerous posts.

Quoted from Vespula:

LE with a verifiably good playfield might start commanding closer to CE pricing.... Depending on how much of a unicorn it is, of course.

At the rate of seeing these issues arise I think all the PF's are affected due to the their process and sooner or later it will show it's ugly head. Why some folks have it happen in a hundred or so games versus some who have several hundred plays is anyone's guess. Who knows maybe it's something to do environmental that either triggers it sooner or later like Dry Climate Areas, Humid Climate Areas or Altitude etc... "shrug"
