So without going into a ton of detail as this isn't the place for that, I can say that I'm one of the very few people insane enough to undertake such a project. I bought the shell of a 1960 Cadillac hearse on April 10, 2011 and since then the car has been fully and meticulously converted into in a 1959 Cadillac ambulance clone. The care will soon be given all of its iconic ghost-hunting gadgets (I have all of the screen-accurate stuff and I will have the custom parts fabricated). Funny enough, this would be the ultimate car for picking up and transporting pinball machines...

Thanks everyone! I have a lot of Ghostbusters stuff, props etc including proton packs. Heck, Arcadius Maximus and I have busted some ghosts up in New Hampshire together even. I will post progress pictures without question...it will be a BUSY summer.

Hahaha, just wait until I share the other big project I've been in the middle of for too long...if I decide to; I don't want to be that guy just posting all kinds of random stuff.

Quoted from mdelorenzo:

Man what the heck. You live probably 30 minutes from me. Why aren't we friends yet even though you joined two weeks ago?

Well I can't know everyone. That said, yeah, you're pretty close, and I'm sure we will cross paths. Perhaps at Pinfest in a few weeks?

The roofrack should be starting soon and then all of the gadgets fitted. The interior shots I'll probably save until it is absolutely complete (it will be pretty sweet). Then it's a matter of assembling it with all body modifications, taking everything off, painting the car (a nightmare), re-assembling it all, and then last, but certainly not least, applying the Ghostbusters logos to the front doors and rear door.

Dream target: Halloween
Realistic target: who the heck knows
