A lot of them do drop ship directly from Stern, but Stern has recently started charging the distributor (which gets passed on to the buyer) a $75 fee to change the mailing label from the distributor's address to the buyer's address in addition to the regular shipping charges Stern charges. Depending on where your distributor is located, where you are located, what shipping company is being used, how many you ordered, etc., it can sometimes be cheaper to ship to the distributor and then to the buyer because of this "new" $75 fee.
