I've been recently shopping around to buy my first NIB machine and I was planning on purchasing a Kiss pro. I don't understand why Stern can't just set a price and that's how much the machine costs. Why do we have to play this game of calling around to get the best price and then noone is supposed to even talk about how much they paid? I feel like this is the same situation where work has a policy where you're not supposed to discuss your salary with others. That policy isn't there to help you. I had posted the price I was quoted for the Kiss from a few distributors and was actually contacted and asked politely to remove the post. I did so without any complaint since I didn't realize that wasn't kosher, but it's really starting to bother me with the prices skyrocketing and then on top of it we can't discuss the price?
Furthermore, I hate how I talk to others that buy games and they're quoted prices several hundred dollars less than my quote. I understand that it's a few hundred bucks either way on a ~5k purchase, but it's the principle of the matter.
Due to this game I feel like is being played, I've just decided to not buy the game. It sucks because I really wanted one. I'm just going to wait and pick up a HUO one later when people get impatient waiting for the code.
