The choice to sell is a two stage process.

Stage One: I am out of space and/or money
Stage Two: Choose the game that I am tired of and will not miss and sell it.

Another factor is the difficulty of buying the pin back. My HUO Paragon and meticulously restored Centaur will never leave since they are really hard to find/buy back. Just sold my RFM and MB because I needed space and buying them back isn't too difficult if I ever get the itch. So far, I've never bought a title more than once.

i've only sold an Elvis and a Playboy stern to get better pin, for me personaly when i get a new pin it takes me a long long time to make my new project

    Quoted from rcbrown316:

you got rid of afm for an engagement ring Herb? Wow. Wow....

haha AFM went long before the ring, actually it was NGG + TFTC to cover part of it. I don't really miss 'em either

Got to rotate the line-up except for the NIBs, the loss on those puppies is too much to stomach So they will stay for a minimum 2 years until I find a similar valued HUO pin that I am interested in to swap it out with

    1. Space
    2. Variety / Boredom
    3. Funds to assist with #2

That not playing to retain value thing would not occur to me. I'm building a gameroom from the ground up and it will only have room for about 14 pins. When I get to about 10, I get a little lost in them. Also, I have a few arcades that I enjoy and will have them as well.
