Yeah that was an unfortunate anti-farmer Freudian slip. Meant Forklift!

I’m trying to picture how they would use a forklift?
One of these things?

Just wait for the building to drop until the third floor becomes the ground floor.

Darn! I think maybe I've been playing too much Godzilla pinball lately.

When I was in my late 20's my friend Missy (yes, a woman), and I would grab a hold of a Road Show pinball (widebody) and carry it up a flight of stairs. Then set it down, and catch our breath before the next flight.

We were accustomed to hard work.

The 20-somethings that I'm trying to hire now have spent most of their life on a couch playing video games.

You can't find strong people in abundance now, so when these under-muscled kids try to do actual work, they get hurt, there is workmans comp, and that DOESN'T even begin to consider that they dropped the $10,000+ dollar pinball because they were unsteady and when it bounced down the stairs it damaged the stairs, the railing, the wall.

If you can't do it yourself, and you can find someone to do it at a price, you may end up paying their price.

You are under no obligation to accept their price... but I'm at $650 for wooden stair 3rd story hand carried deliveries, and we are at least three weeks out. I'm lucky, I'm associated with a pool table company that has guys accustomed to fine furniture high end pool tables, and the guys are usually carrying pool table slate, so they are strong enough.

Consider the consequences if things go really wrong, and then consider if you'll pay someones asking price.

What 3 story (or taller) building doesn't have an elevator?

Pack your shit up and move now! These things reproduce like rabbits!

Not just damage to machine or house. What are you worth if you F' something up. How long to heal, if ever. Lose income or the ability to do every day things.
