Well, since you asked, I think pinball guys all get girls because they understand that we, as a species, rely on words to convey thoughts and ideas. When one (unintentionally) uses ambiguous words, one runs the risk that one's message, and thereby possibly one's personality, is misinterpreted by the receiver. When pinball guys are notified their message is open to several interpretations, they have no problem using their expansive vocabulary to select words that ensure unambiguous thought transfer. They stop the misinterpretation at the source, rather than blame the receiving party for selecting the wrong meaning. That, in my mind, indeed indicates a more sophisticated mindset.
